Job Responsibilities:

The role is required to lead Sustainable Procurement in Asia Pacific countries through development of Procurement strategies and maintaining close interface with suppliers and stakeholders in order to ensure Sustainability /ESG compliance through alignment with B. Braun's Group Sustainability. Other responsibilities included but limited to the following:

• Projects Strategy and Execution such as Sustainable Procurement and Supplier Management
• Lead the development, analysis and execution of the projects through proper project governance
• Challenge sourcing activities, processes and existing practices to identify and implement value engineering and/or operational excellence, process improvement as well as new sourcing opportunities.
• Take initiative and be willing to lead or support improvement projects in the function and business.
• Be a subject-matter-expert to provide guidance to stakeholders and suppliers within the scope of the projects
• Drives and be accountable for the Key Performance Indicators within the scope of the Project(s)
  
  

Supplier Management & Supplier Risk Management

• Take responsibility for supplier management project execution and strategy, which also includes supplier risk management programs and assist to drive supplier performance in sustainable, systematic ways through collaboration with Procurement Category managers.
• Work with business stakeholders for the development and deployment of appropriate supplier performance targets and KPIs as appropriate
• Ensure suppliers have the capacity, financial stability, quality & technical capabilities to meet business requirements and put in place supplier development/risk mitigation plans as appropriate.
  
  

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Science, Engineering, Business Management or related field with a minimum of 5 years working experience.
• Having Professional Quality or Procurement qualifications and/or experience in procurement, supplier quality management or supply chain will be an added advantage.
• Must have supplier management experience and skills to be able to interact with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure proper project governance. e.g., Communication, leadership, negotiation, presentation, planning and organizing.
• Having experience either as a Category Manager, Supplier Quality Engineer/Manager or Project Manager in Sustainability topics (ESG) will be an added advantage.
• Has knowledge of Sustainability (ESG) especially in Sustainable Procurement will be an added advantage. If not, the person must be able to learn the subject fast and expected to become a Subject Matter Expert for B. Braun.
• Ability to coach internal team (Procurement Category Managers) and external (Suppliers) on Sustainability (ESG) topics as part of a continuous Supplier Development focus is preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision, and able to articulate the project(s) and activities well with all levels of the organization.
