Ansell is looking for a Global Sourcing Manager (Chemicals Category) to join our team in Cyberjaya, Malaysia.

In this position, you will play a vital role in the strategic sourcing of chemicals required for our operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness, supply chain efficiency and continuity, as well as compliance with all relevant regulations, CSR principles, and safety standards. You will work closely with external suppliers and internal stakeholders to optimize procurement processes and achieve operational goals.

What your role will be?

Collaborating with our cross functional teams, and reporting to the Global Procurement Director, you are responsible for these key areas:

• Supplier Management : Manage strategic supplier relationships and ensure timely, compliant deliveries.
• Cost & Budget : Optimize sourcing strategies, track market trends, and manage procurement budgets.
• Compliance : Ensure adherence to chemical regulations and CSR standards.
• Market Insights : Monitor industry trends and identify alternative sources and innovations.
• Collaboration & Reporting : Align with internal teams and maintain reports on sourcing, savings, and performance.
• Risk Management : Mitigate supplier risks and develop contingency plans for critical materials.

What will you bring to Ansell ?

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Polymer Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in sourcing or procurement of chemicals and polymer-related materials
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools
• Solid understanding of trends in the chemical industry
• Knowledge of responsible sourcing, CSR, and sustainability practices (a plus)
