Sr.Group Finance Manager

Chrisjac Recruitment is working in partnership with an established business conglomerate with a variety of business specialization and operations in shipping, commodities, hospitality, real estate & property, logistics and maritime services. There is an excellent opening for a top-tier senior finance professional to step into a senior finance role within the CBD area in KL.
Key Responsibilities
This is a full-time permanent position, reporting directly to the Financial Controller of the group in Malaysia.
In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation of group financial reporting including group consolidation on a monthly/quarterly and yearly basis, undertake full spectrum of finance duties, corporate finance, planning and analysis, taxation and cash flow management.
The role will be to manage the full spectrum of accounting and finance functions of the company and several subsidiary companies within the group.
Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the preparation of Group consolidated statutory accounts on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
2. Preparation of statutory accounts for key subsidiaries within the Group.
3. Responsible for the financial management of the company and Group.
4. Prepare monthly investment and cash flow projection reports.
5. Review country-by-country report, master files and transfer pricing.
6. Responsible for quarterly and yearly reports for Bursa Malaysia announcement.
7. Manage taxation, audit and all related matters.

Key Requirements:

1. To be considered for this senior finance and accounting role, candidates must possess a minimum professional qualification ACCA/CIMA; a bachelor's degree will be duly considered.
2. Member of MIA.
3. Preference for candidates who are in the age group 35-48.
4. At least 6-8 years of hands-on role in group consolidation of accounts and corporate finance functionality.
5. Ideally, candidates with prior experience in PLC setup will be an asset.
6. Successful applicants will be strong in the consolidation of group accounts.
7. Good working knowledge of Main Board Listing requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities and MFRS/IFRS.
8. A confident and well-organized self-starter with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Good command of spoken and written English is required with good writing skills.
10. A good working knowledge of accounting standards (FRS & IAS), taxation and company law will definitely be a prerequisite to be considered for this role.

This exciting role will be based at the corporate head office in the CBD area, KL. Their business working hours are on a 5-day week basis, 8.30 am-5.30 pm. It is important that the applicants will find it convenient to work in the location.
