Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will act as the cockpit controller for manufacturing operations, responsible for gathering and analysing data related to manufacturing processes, including production rates, quality control, and manufacturing performance. The candidate will establish and manage secondary inventory for chemicals and bulk materials, streamline materials processes, and lead continuous improvement projects. This role requires strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to effectively orchestrate production control activities. The candidate will work closely with production managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to implement process improvements and ensure the smooth operation of manufacturing activities. A LEAN manufacturing, innovative, and digital mindset is essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

Manufacturing Operation Excellence:

  • Production Control:
    • Gather and analyse data related to manufacturing processes, including production rates, quality control, and manufacturing performance.
    • Create detailed reports and documentation of findings, recommendations, and implemented changes.
    • Streamline end-to-end (E2E) processes to enhance efficiency. Oversee the Production Control Tower, ensuring availability, and orchestration of all interdependencies to meet production target.
    • Implement DL resources optimization strategy.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Continuously seek ways to drive and streamline operations and improve overall efficiency in the manufacturing process by applying LEAN manufacturing principles and digital methods to minimize waste and enhance productivity.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to incorporate innovative solutions into manufacturing processes.
    • Assess and recommend new technologies and tools that can optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Material and Inventory Management:
    • Develop efficient processes for incoming and outgoing materials, including raw materials issuance, sub-assembly, finished goods, chemicals, and materials expiry management.
    • Ensure timeliness and accuracy in kitting backflush processes.
    • Determine optimal min/max settings for each part based on current volume and lead time, and set up optimized auto internal requests driven by min/max settings.
    • Establish and manage secondary inventory for chemicals and bulk materials.
    • Lead periodic inventory counts and ensure accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in inventory management, production control, and capacity planning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
  • Digital mindset with experience in implementing digital solutions in manufacturing.
