Specialist - Controlling

Overall Job Role

Responsible for areas in Controlling and Financial Accounting, covering month end closing activities, timely preparation of local reporting and analysis, ensuring compliance to accounting standards, regulatory bodies requirements and internal control requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare Service Level Agreement (SLA) recharge amount on monthly basis
• Prepare journals for month end closing activities
• Support in analysis of monthly profit and loss; and balance sheet
• Timely preparation of ESG reporting in accordance with Global KPIs
• Timely preparation of financial and management reports and analysis
• Monitoring of invoice processing
• Support in preparation and submission of MDEC and other Government Regulatory requirements
• Liaise with external audits, tax consultants and preparation of documents for financial accounts audit and tax submission
• Preparation and submission of SST
• Preparation and submission of WHT
• Ensuring compliance to internal control requirements
• Handle queries and ad-hoc requests from service line

• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships
• Be able to influence decisions / actions through provision of value added inputs into the organization’s business processes

Skills & Qualifications

• Degree holder and /or qualified accountant (preferable)
• 2-3 years of working experience in related financial accounting areas
• Ability to communicate / work effectively with people at all levels.
• Effective communication skills in English (spoken and written)
• Effective presentation skill to stakeholder at all levels
• Software skills (SAP, TM1, CREST, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power Apps etc)
• Able to work under pressure to deliver results according to deadline set
