Duties And Responsibilities

1. Charismatic Leadership: Lead and monitor the implementation of the Education Plan and Assessment Plan between teachers and children with special needs.
2. Planning and Implementation of Interventions and Therapy: Develop and implement tailored intervention plans for each child with special needs, incorporating various innovative approaches.
3. Monitoring and Assessing Progress: Regularly monitor the progress of children by maintaining detailed progress records and adjusting therapy plans as needed to enhance skills, abilities, and the quality of life for children with special needs through effective interventions.
4. Child Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify early signs of developmental issues and challenges in children.
5. Interactive Activities: Use play-based and creative activities to stimulate the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive skills of children, making therapy sessions enjoyable and meaningful.
6. Family Education and Support: Work with parents and caregivers to provide effective support and strategies at home, encouraging their involvement in the therapy process by creating personalized and holistic programs for children with special needs.
7. Focus on Education: Ensure that families receive the necessary information, support, and training to assist in their child’s development at home. Provide guidance and education to families about child development and ways to support it, using an approach that builds confidence and understanding.
8. Harmony and Positive Work Environment: Ensure and create harmony in the work and teaching culture between teachers and children with special needs.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

1. Diploma/Degree in Special Education Therapy for Children or related field.
2. Open to fresh graduates with experience in this field.
3. Certification in Occupational Therapy (OT), Physical Therapy (PT), or Speech Therapy (ST), if available.
4. Experience in the Healthcare sector is an advantage but not a requirement.
5. Responsible and leadership-oriented in educating children with special needs.
6. Creative and innovative in contributing ideas for children's education and teaching plans.
7. Able to accept feedback/direction from superiors and work effectively within a team.
