We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Spare Parts Supervisor to manage our spare parts inventory and streamline our logistics operations across warehouses and service centers. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in spare parts management, supply chain coordination, and process optimization. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient inventory turnover, cost control, and regulatory compliance while leading a dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Oversee spare parts inventory in warehouses and service centers to maintain optimal stock levels and efficient turnover. Monitor consumption trends and develop strategic replenishment plans to avoid overstocking or shortages. Manage and ensure the accuracy of processes related to receiving, issuing, transferring, and returning spare parts.
Logistics & Distribution: Coordinate with logistics providers and regional service centers to ensure timely delivery and proper distribution of spare parts. Address transportation issues promptly and optimize distribution plans to reduce costs and improve efficiency. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delivery timeliness and damage rates to enhance supply chain performance.
Faulty Parts Handling: Manage the process for handling defective or faulty parts (including DOA items), from collection to testing and processing. Collaborate with logistics and headquarters to manage returns, replacements, or repairs in line with established standards.
Data Analysis & Process Optimization: Analyze critical data—such as inventory turnover, stock-out rates, and usage trends—to propose and implement improvement strategies. Utilize data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) to support decision-making and cost control initiatives. Participate in SPM/ISP system enhancements or implementations to maintain data integrity and operational excellence.
Team Leadership & Training: Lead and manage the spare parts team from service centers, ensuring effective task allocation and high performance. Organize training sessions to enhance team skills and service quality. Liaise with various departments (warehouse, service center, logistics, finance, etc.) to ensure seamless operations.
Cost & Compliance Management: Control procurement and inventory costs while optimizing the use of available resources. Ensure all processes comply with company policies and industry regulations. Proactively prevent issues such as inventory overstock or loss, enhancing overall operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in spare parts management, supply chain operations, or after-sales service.
Experience in managing spare parts within industries such as home appliances, electronics, or automotive is preferred.
Proficiency in spare parts warehousing, logistics distribution, and supply chain optimization.
Strong analytical skills with experience using data analysis tools like Excel or Power BI.
Language skills:Proficient in Chinese and English
Excellent communication, coordination, and team leadership skills.
Proven problem-solving ability and a keen eye for process improvement.
Willingness to travel for service center or warehouse inspections as needed.
