Solution Architect - Top Tier Insurance Firm - Malaysia

My client is a tier one insurance firm in Malaysia looking to hire a Solution Architect for their data team. They are currently going through a massive end to end internal finance transformation program.

They are one of the market leaders in protection, savings and investment linked plans, with S$50+ billion funds under management.

Role:

1. Develop and design scalable, reliable, and secure Azure-based solutions that align with business requirements and technical constraints.
2. Lead the implementation of Azure solutions, including virtual networks, storage, databases, and compute resources, ensuring best practices and high performance.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and developers, to gather requirements and provide technical guidance and solutions.
4. Design and oversee the integration of Azure services with existing systems and third-party applications.
5. Continuously evaluate and optimize Azure solutions for performance, cost, and scalability.
6. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of architectural designs, implementation plans, and best practices.
7. Ensure Azure solutions comply with industry regulations and security standards, implementing appropriate controls and monitoring.
8. Stay current with Azure developments and emerging technologies, recommending innovative solutions and improvements.
9. In-depth knowledge of Azure services (e.g., Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure DevOps, Azure Compute, Azure Storage, Azure SQL) and best practices.
10. Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) or similar are highly preferred.
