Keysight Calibration Engineering organization is responsible for developing calibration software and providing software-related support to customer service centers around the world. We are committed to innovation and leveraging emerging technologies to differentiate ourselves from the competition.

We are looking for a motivated R&D Operating Manager to lead a team of innovative engineers in developing, automating, maintaining, and optimizing service workflow software. This role will also involve continuous collaboration with our global service centers to enhance the overall customer service experience.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the service business, strong project management capabilities, and proven people management skills.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Empower team members by setting clear goals, providing regular feedback, and supporting career growth.
• Manage projects following the Keysight Product Life Cycle, track progress, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure proper documentation of all processes, developments, and implementations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Keysight, including R&D, planning and service centres, to achieve business goals.
• Proactively address team challenges and ensure an environment that promotes high performance, accountability, and job satisfaction.

Minimum Requirements:

• BS, MS degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
• Effective people management skills to lead and inspire a team.
• Strong technical background in software development methodology.
• Proven project management experience in software development from concept to ship release.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA and Microsoft Project.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience as a team lead with direct reports.
• Experience working with international teams.
• Knowledge of ISO 17025 standards.
