The Software Tester is responsible for supporting software testing activities of the assigned projects. Ultimately, you will be coordinating testing activities in addressing the organization's operational requirements, while ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards, as well as aligning with departmental goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers and users to analyze user stories/requirements for validity and feasibility.
• Understand project factors that drive the test priorities and test approaches.
• Apply established techniques for designing tests at all levels (system, integration, and regression).
• Interpret and execute tests from given test specifications, before presenting the test results.
• Identify test conditions and features to be tested, developing test scenarios and documentation.
• Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies.
• Prepare clear and concise defect reports.
• Assist with the selection and implementation process of testing tools.
• Provide support in multiple projects with different deadlines.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior and/or the management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other equivalent fields.
• Possess a Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL).
• Minimum 2 years of quality assurance (QA) work experience in the IT industry.
• Experience in defining test cases, developing and maintaining test scripts for business specifications.
• Knowledge of fundamental concepts of software testing and testing practices.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good in both written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
