Software Technician

Job Responsibility

1. Install, configure, and test POS systems, peripherals, and related software at customer locations.
2. Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware, software, and network issues related to POS systems.
3. Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.
4. Perform system upgrades, updates, and preventive maintenance.
5. Train customers on the proper use of POS systems and software.
6. Ensure all service requests and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
7. Document technical issues, solutions, and service reports.
8. Adhere to company policies during installations and repairs.

Job Requirements

1. Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
2. Required language(s): Mandarin, English, Bahasa Malaysia
3. Experience in POS system installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance is an advantage.
4. Basic knowledge of networking and operating systems (Windows).
5. Ability to diagnose and repair hardware and software issues.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Good communication and customer service skills.
8. Able to work independently and in a team.
9. Possess own transport and willing to travel to client locations.
10. Minimum 1-3 years experiences at related field.
