Software Engineer (Site Builder)

We are looking for a Frontend Software Engineer who is ambitious, user-focused, and passionate about clean code to join our Site Builder team. The best candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is excited to build and optimize the core product interface used by Xsolla’s partners.

Strong JavaScript, React, and TypeScript expertise is essential, along with a passion for creating performant, scalable, and intuitive interfaces. Experience with Node.js or NestJS is a strong plus, especially for engineers looking to grow into full-stack contributions. The ability to collaborate cross-functionally, provide thoughtful code reviews, and advocate for best practices will be key to your success in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, maintain, and improve features for the Publisher Account interface.
• Collaborate with team members to design, prototype, and implement scalable architecture.
• Optimize frontend performance and ensure a smooth user experience across devices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high code quality.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure robust and stable releases.
• Contribute to QA and testing processes to catch bugs early.
• Help prioritize features and improvements, and advocate for high-impact work.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in JavaScript, React, and TypeScript development.
• Ability to write modular, performant, and reusable front-end code.
• Solid understanding of modern frontend practices and build tools.
• Experience using Git for version control and working in collaborative environments.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Eagerness to grow in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with Node.js, NestJS, or Express.js.
• Familiarity with databases and backend API integration.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
• Experience with CI/CD automation tools (we use GitLab CI).
• Exposure to testing practices and application delivery workflows.
