Software Engineer (Outsystems)

The Software Engineer (OutSystems) is responsible in creating applications and providing technical solutions in close collaboration with business stakeholder/s involved with the project. He/ She will analyse Module specifications work with developers to coordinate the work, track the progress of the work and review unit test package and SIT/UAT test scenarios, tests & document test results to ensure the quality of the program.

Make an Impact by:

• Prepare the SIT/UAT test logs, ensure SIT/UAT test cases are followed up and closed
• To ensure that end to end integration testing, system testing, are executed properly.
• Support User Acceptance Test (UAT) & implementation activities to fix the reported problems/bugs of the system to ensure the smooth execution of programs in the production environment.
• Investigate reported problems/errors & initiate amendments & testing so that the system can operate correctly & efficiently.
• Prepare Review & maintain up-to-date technical documentation, flow diagrams and system documentation.
• Analyse functional requirements to translate into application design using established design methodologies and guidelines.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and provide technical solutions.
• Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.

Skills for Success:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• More than 5 years of OutSystems 10/11 traditional or reactive web development experience, both front-end and back-end.
• OutSystems Certification (Associate / Professional / Tech Lead ) is an advantage.
• Understand relational database concepts, as well as experience working with databases on a modern relational database platform, such as MS SQL Server, MySQL, etc.
• Must be knowledgeable in consuming and exposing REST and SOAP APIs .
• Must be familiar in navigating OutSystem's Service Center for troubleshooting / deployment / hotfix purposes.
• Understanding of agile development methodologies.
• Must be knowledgeable in HTML / CSS / Javascript/Integration Studio.
• Must know how to use and adapt solutions from the OutSystems Forge Components.
• Hands on troubleshooting skills using tools and technologies.
• Candidates with experience as a Full Stack Developer are also welcome to apply.
