Software Engineer I

To be the technical key person between the Sales/Customer and Operations.
To develop and prepare software according to the needs of the product and Customer.
Part of Operations Team in working towards project delivery and quality commitments.

Main tasks and responsibilities

● Design/develop software according to customer requirements.
● Prepare software design and/or proposal to Sales/Customer.
● Prepare and release software for manufacturing of customer orders.
● Review Technical Specifications provided by Sales.
● Technical discussions with Project Leader, Product Support, Sales.
● Manage multiple concurrent assignments to meet established deadlines.
● Coordinate with the Operations team to ensure manufacturing activities are aligned to achieve delivery targets.
● Evaluate product performance based on customer satisfaction together with relevant departments.

What you’ll need to succeed

Education
● A relevant Degree in Software/Electrical/Control Engineering discipline.
Experience
● Minimum 1 year of applicable working experience with relevant electrical/control design work.
● Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Skills
● Knowledge of software (preferable CoDeSys & Siemens).
● Familiar with programming languages:
● IL (instruction list)
● ST (structured text)
● LD (ladder diagram)
● FBD (function block diagram)
● SFC (sequential function chart)
● C++
● C#
● Python
● Javascript.
● Understanding of industrial standards related to hoisting machinery and equipment.
● Well versed in electrical control systems.
● Self initiative.
Competencies
● Write a professional technical report.
● Good technical analysis.
● Work independently to complete.
