Job summary

Career Horizons is seeking a Software Engineer to join its data management and cloud services team in Petaling Jaya. You will participate in the software development life cycle, perform system testing and documentation, and help design and implement new core modules and Cloud services.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in IT or Computer Science with at least two years of relevant experience, solid OO concepts, and knowledge of Java, JSON, XML, REST, SOAP and Web

Our client is a leading player in the dynamic and rapidly evolving B2B (business-to-business) commerce industry. They play a vital role in boosting user experience by ensuring the smooth delivery of top-notch services that meet and exceed customer demands. Currently, their data management team is handling data integration for more than 100 large FMCG companies throughout the Southeast Asia Region. They are looking for a Software Engineer to join their Data Management team.

The New Role

As a Software Engineer, you will participate in the software development life-cycle, perform system testing and documentation whenever necessary, analyze and design new core modules, and participate in the creation of new Cloud services and products. You will maintain and support project post-implementation activities and ensure timely delivery of assigned work.

Requirements to Succeed

You should have at least a Bachelor’s Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or relevant fields, with at least 2 years of relevant experience in the related field. You must have a good understanding of Object-Oriented programming concepts and knowledge in Java/JSON/XML/REST/SOAP/Web Services.
