Software Engineer (Developer)

Responsibilities:

1. Work collaboratively with the development team throughout the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, coding, testing, troubleshooting, and deployment of efficient data infrastructure or applications, whether on-premise or in the cloud.
2. Conduct unit testing and engage in system testing to ensure the robustness and reliability of software applications.
3. Document software features, functionality, and technical specifications.
4. Stay updated with emerging technologies, programming languages, and best practices in software development.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), or a related field.
2. At least one year of experience as a Software Engineer (Developer), with strong technical skills for solving complex problems and a willingness to learn new technologies and tools.
3. Proficiency in Spark, Scala, TypeScript, and object-oriented languages such as Java or Python.
4. Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, React JS/Native, and web frameworks (e.g., Laravel, CodeIgniter).
5. Strong scripting skills on Linux platforms, using languages such as Bash.
6. Knowledge of various databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle, HBase, MongoDB, or Neo4j.
7. Enthusiastic and proactive in learning new technologies and programming languages.
8. Proficiency in data pipeline, workflow management, and data governance tools.
9. Experience with cloud Data Warehouse solutions (e.g., BigQuery, Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Redshift) and cloud-based solutions (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure).
10. Strong technical communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working in rapidly changing client environments.
11. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and resolve technical challenges involving unfamiliar technologies.
