You will be responsible for:

Position Title: Software Developer

Job Purpose:

The Software Developer works under the supervision of a Senior Software Developer to write code and test programs and applications. This includes researching, designing, documenting, and modifying software specifications throughout the production lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Senior Software Developer and System Analyst in conceptualizing and developing new software programs and applications
• Prepare and document program requirements and specifications
• Research and document requirements of program users
• Write, translate, and code software programs and applications according to specifications
• Run and monitor software performance tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, areas for improvement, and general debugging
• Develop and maintain user manuals and guidelines
• Receive guidance and direction from the Senior Software Developer or System Analyst
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned by Supervisor

Duties:

• Perform full stack development activities using Java programming language. Strong knowledge of programming languages (Kubernetes, AngularJS, Java, Spring Boot) and capable of coaching junior teams to enhance their software development skills and capabilities.

The Profile

Experience:

• Minimum 3+ years hands-on working experience in software programming
• Experience working on Linux-based infrastructure
• Experience working on Kubernetes such as Redhat OpenShift, Rancher
• Configuration and management of databases such as MySQL, DB2, MSSQL, PostgreSQL
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services
• Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps.
