Software Developer

We are looking for Software Engineer with extensive experience in web & software development to develop and maintain new and existing websites & software applications. Must be strong in both Backend and Front-end (REACT).

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Design & develop software applications, replacement or upgrades for existing applications.
2. Database management and administration.
3. Manage user requirements to ensure successful implementation of application systems.
4. Support user departments in reviewing of business processes, software evaluation and system implementation.
5. Provide post implementation support to users.
6. Able to meet project timelines and deliver to specifications.

Requirements:

1. Preferably a Diploma or Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent with at least 2 years of working experience in related field.
2. Strong working experience with database server and advanced web technologies.
3. Frontend PWAs – REACT/TS 18.2 is important. Angular/TS 15.1 also useful.
4. Backend Web Services - ASP.NET and Core 7+
5. Frameworks: Django, jQuery, Backbone, Rails, Bootstrap, wxPython
6. Other databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
7. Project and people management skills will be an advantage.
8. Working experience to configure internet servers especially IIS application server.
9. Possess excellent problem solving skills and attention to details.
10. A team player, flexible, self-driven, able to multi-task and deliver quality results.

Selected candidate(s) will work-from-home in Johor Bahru but required to travel to Singapore office on an average of twice a week (or even more if/when necessary).
