Social Media Specialist

We are looking for a dynamic Social Media Specialist to oversee and expand the online presence of multiple international brands across various platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and others. You will be responsible for managing content creation, including static posts and short-form videos (e.g., TikTok), running daily operations of the social media accounts, and planning social campaigns. Your role will involve collaborating closely with design, short video, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging across all social channels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement impactful social media strategies per our company’s objectives. Manage the profiles of multiple brands across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.
• Work with designers and video production agencies to create compelling content tailored for each social platform.
• Cultivate a vibrant online community by responding promptly and engaging actively. Plan and oversee monthly campaigns, contests, and promotions to boost engagement.
• Analyze metrics, monitor KPIs, and draw insights to reshape future strategies. Stay updated on social media trends and innovative platforms.
• Ensure consistency in posts and engagement via a well-maintained content calendar. Undertake business trips as needed to support various project requirements.

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role, managing multiple accounts across different platforms.
• Proven track record of creating viral social content or running successful social campaigns.
• Experience in content creation: static posts, short-form video (TikTok, Instagram Reels), and graphics.
• Creative writing and storytelling skills for crafting engaging and on-brand captions.
• Sensitive to social trends and cultural insights of Malaysia and Singapore.
• In-depth knowledge of social media platform tools, algorithms, and best practices.
• Experience in paid media management, including Facebook Ads Manager and TikTok Ads.
• Excellent project management and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere, CapCut) and graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Photoshop) is preferred.
• Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
