About the role:

Join our dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur, part of a startup that secured US$20M in seed funding - one of the largest in Southeast Asia. Work directly with:

• SVP of Marketing with extensive experience in viral content creation and gaming
• Former social media directors from top anime and entertainment companies
• Creative professionals pushing the boundaries of digital anime engagement

We own an anime studio in Japan, enabling us to create high-quality, original content. You'll be instrumental in launching and growing our new social media presence from the ground up.

The Role

Pioneer our TikTok and Instagram strategy, creating engaging anime-related content that will establish our brand and resonate with millions of fans worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and post captivating content for our new TikTok and Instagram accounts
• Collaborate with our expert team and anime studio to develop innovative, original content
• Assist in building our social media presence from scratch
• Analyze performance metrics and contribute to content optimization
• Stay up-to-date with social media trends, especially in the anime community

You Have

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
• Proficiency in video editing and graphic design tools
• Strong understanding of TikTok and Instagram platforms
• Excellent creative writing and visual storytelling skills
• Passion for anime and pop culture

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience in launching or managing new social media accounts
• Knowledge of social media analytics tools
• Basic understanding of SEO and content marketing
• Familiarity with anime industry trends and fan communities
