Social Media Intern

At VML Malaysia, we are seeking a Social Media Intern to join our Social Team to help drive growth across social channels, increase brand awareness for clients, and gain valuable on-the-job experience from our team’s cumulative expertise in the social media space. Social media strategy is constantly evolving, and we need Social Media Interns who can assist in executing campaigns for our diverse range of clients. The ideal candidate must be passionate about social media and enjoy thinking outside the box!

Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitoring social media accounts of the client
• Support ongoing content calendar and outreach
• Work closely with Senior Leadership to develop strategic plans for social media presence
• Ad hoc projects as and when assigned by superior

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in media, communications, marketing, public relations or equivalent
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Lives, breathes, and eats current events and pop culture
• A quick thinker and problem solver
