Social Media Associate

Responsibilities:

1. Support Malaysia Social team to execute comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns to drive mindshare, engagement and social mentions across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok.
2. Support Head of Social and Social Planners to create compelling content (regardless of video/static format) to drive talkability.
3. Own, manage, and update the social media calendar to align with company’s business goals and needs.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including brand, creative, commercial, and 3rd parties to develop integrated marketing campaigns.
5. Stay informed about industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices in social media marketing and brand management, and leverage this knowledge to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
2. Proven 1-3 years’ experience in social media marketing, brand management, or digital marketing, preferably in the ecommerce or retail industry.
3. Good understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices, with the ability to develop and execute effective social media strategies and content.
4. Experience in managing social media calendars and content schedules to ensure timely, consistent posting aligned with business objectives.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with internal teams and external partners.
6. Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, and able to adapt to new trends and emerging platforms quickly.
7. Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative campaigns that drive results.
