Job Summary:
The Social Media & Branding Specialist is responsible for managing Coherent’s social media presence and supporting branding initiatives. This role involves creating and curating content for social media platforms, engaging with audiences, and analyzing performance to optimize strategies. The specialist collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and alignment with marketing objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Manage Coherent’s presence across social media platforms, including content creation, scheduling, and publishing.
• Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and audience growth.
• Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with the MARCOM team to ensure cohesive brand messaging across all channels.
• Create visually appealing and engaging content, including graphics, videos, and captions.
• Analyze social media performance metrics and provide actionable insights to improve strategies.
• Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and best practices to bring innovative ideas to campaigns.
• Support branding initiatives by maintaining consistency in visual and messaging standards.
• Coordinate with marketing and product teams to promote campaigns, product launches, and events.
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.
• Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics platforms.
Skills & other requirements:
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective best practices.
• Creative skills in content creation, including graphic design and video editing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and optimize strategies.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, global team environment.
• Knowledge of branding principles and their application in digital platforms.
