Job Descriptions:

Network Design & Implementation:

1. Plan, design, and deploy secure and scalable network solutions, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, communication between devices and networks.
2. Evaluate and recommend new network technologies and tools for Stratus products.
3. Create networks as well as device communication diagrams.
4. Recommend and design the most efficient network architecture.
5. Design gateways and network routing.
6. Calculate network usage and bandwidth.
7. Develop new communication methods between Stratus products and troubleshoot.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

1. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
2. Conduct regular maintenance, updates, and latency solutions to minimize downtime.

Security Management:

1. Implement and manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security solutions.
2. Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and standards and SEMI standards.

Support & Documentation:

1. Provide technical support to end-users.
2. Create and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and incident logs.
3. Create BOM and issue PR for all electrical items for the entire project.
4. Onsite support for any network and control related issues if required.
5. Must be willing to travel overseas.
6. Work closely with Engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of network services in each product.
7. Communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders when needed.
8. Provide technical consultation for project managers and customers from time to time.
9. Advise project manager and project application and sales team for component substitution.
10. Guide junior/assistant engineers on network and control-related issues.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Electronic Communication Engineering or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
3. Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are preferred.
4. Strong understanding of networking concepts: TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, etc.
5. Hands-on experience with network hardware such as Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or similar.
6. Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, or Wireshark, WiFi analysis tools).
7. Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
9. Knowledge in WiFi, industrial communication protocols such as TCP/IP, EtherCAT, Modbus, and serial communication will be an added advantage.
10. Ability to manage network devices like routers and switches effectively.
11. Network traffic analysis.
