Snr. Mechanical Engineer (M&E Drawing)

Working Days/Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30AM – 5:30PM

Qualifications:

1. A recognized Bachelor or postgraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering
2. A minimum of 4-5 years' experience working in Engineering Consultancy/ Construction industry
3. Background in Data Centre design and commissioning experience is a plus
4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal English
5. Ability to think on your feet, organize and deliver projects on schedule
6. Exposure to design phase, contract administration, testing & commissioning, site safety, and quality management
7. Necessary experience eligible for registration with the Board of Engineers Malaysia as a Professional Engineer or a registered PEPC
8. Candidate with the skill of BIM or have accreditation as ATD will be an added advantage

Role Description:

1. Performing as M&E design consultant roles for data center projects from feasibility studies to conceptual design
2. Designing & developing technical solutions for clients’ projects
3. Producing, coordinating and reviewing M&E design drawings and specifications
4. Review of workshop drawings & regular inspection of works onsite for quality checks
5. Review all Testing and Commissioning plans and attendance of all tests in shop factory and onsite
6. Liaison with authorities having jurisdiction for approval of submissions and installations
7. Travelling out of town if required for project needs
8. Attending all project meetings
9. Project closure and preparation of handover documents
