Overview

Supports the manager to undertake independent review & validation of the Banking Group's processes to ensure all gaps identified via HSWG process are closed in compliance to regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform independent review & validation on the business units' & support units' processes from operational to strategic level aligning with regulatory requirements.
• Keep abreast of new legal & regulatory changes & validate to ensure requirements are embedded into the business processes, controls and docs.
• Engage with stakeholders across business & support units in undertaking the independent review.
• Report and follow up on the results of the review, gaps and areas of improvement, track and ensure closure of issues.
• Provide recommendations for process improvements.
• Escalate or report the presence of issues / findings.
• Assist manager in scheduling meetings, daily team operations, supervising and training team members.
• Attend to ad-hoc request(s) / queries.

Job Requirement

• Bachelor’s Degree holder in Banking & Finance, or any relevant field.
• Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience with specialization in compliance or audit experience.
• Good written and oral communication skills in English and ability to interact effectively with people at different levels.
