Site Supervisor (Solar)

Job Description

As a Site Supervisor for our C&I Team, you will oversee the execution of solar rooftop installation projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. You will act as the primary on-site liaison between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, ensuring smooth project workflows and adherence to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Supervision
   Monitor daily site activities, including material delivery, subcontractor work, and installation processes.
   Ensure compliance with safety protocols (e.g., OSHA, DOSH) and quality standards.
   Conduct site inspections and document progress, risks, and resolutions.
2. Stakeholder Management
   Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams (engineering, procurement) to resolve issues and align deliverables.
   Lead daily toolbox meetings and provide clear instructions to on-site personnel.
3. Documentation & Reporting
   Prepare daily/weekly progress reports, site logs, and compliance documentation.
   Maintain records of material inventory, equipment usage, and manpower allocation.
4. Quality Control
   Verify installations against engineering drawings and specifications.
   Identify defects and coordinate corrective actions promptly.
5. Problem-Solving
   Address technical, logistical, or interpersonal challenges proactively.
   Escalate critical issues to Project Managers with proposed solutions.
6. Training & Development
   Participate in internal training programs to enhance technical and leadership skills.

Requirements

Education: Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy).

Experience:
Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Candidates with 1–2 years of experience in solar/construction site supervision (C&I projects) will have an advantage.

Skills:
Basic understanding of solar PV systems or construction practices.
Confident communicator with fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Attributes:
Willingness to learn, adapt, and take initiative.
Physically fit to work on rooftops and outdoor sites.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites.

Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with AutoCAD or solar design software is an advantage.
