SITE SUPERVISOR (IPOH/KL/SELANGOR)

Job Responsibilities

• To assist the Site Agent/Project Engineer/Senior Site Supervisor in supervising all construction work on the project.
• Supervise and monitor construction work by the QPP and PSP procedures.
• To inspect but not limited to the following works of Piling, if applicable:
  • Structural Work.
  • Architectural Work.
  • Mechanical and Electrical Work.
  • External Work.
• Identify all remedial and outstanding works to be carried out.
• Adopt non-conformances procedure and carry out all remedial works and thereafter carry out re-inspection.
• Upon full or partial completion of construction work, carry out an inspection to include encompass:
  • All structural work.
  • All completed/partially completed architectural finishes.
  • All fitting and accessories.
  • All doors/windows/frames.
  • All M and E fittings.
• Upon the arrival of relevant materials, receive inspection and test as appropriate as per inspection and test plan.
• Record and fill all relevant forms and keep a record such as daily work record which encompasses labor force, machinery, and weather records. Any other relevant documents such as a request for inspection form.
• Ensure that all verbal instructions given to contractors are to be confirmed with written instructions.
• Updated incoming drawings and drawing registers.
• Control all relevant project documents and data as per the procedure stated.
• Upon completion of work, carry out a final inspection and project handover including ensuring that all as-built drawing is prepared before the issuance of a certificate of practical completion.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering/Building Construction/Architecture technical or equivalent.
• Candidate experience in high-rise buildings and civil and infrastructure projects.
• Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia.
• At least 3 years of working experience in the related field are required for this position.
• Computer literate in industry-related software such as MS Project/Word/Excel.
• Willing to work long hours when required.
• Familiar with architecture and C&S drawing and specifications for construction projects.
• Knowledge of map creation software and photo imaging software.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a high level of accuracy in calculations and design.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Leadership skills to effectively manage a diverse group of professionals working on one project.
• Ability to coordinate more than one project at a time.
• Willing to work on Sunday, Public Holiday, if needed.
