Our Company specializes in designing and building water and sewage treatment plants, NRW consultancy, resistivity surveys, and groundwater engineering work. We are a CIDB G7 contractor. We urgently need a Competent Site Safety Supervisor to fill the position. Job site at Selangor.

Key Job Duties And Responsibility

• Provide support to the project by maintaining a visible presence to the field performing site visits to the entire project at least once per shift.
• To promote health, safety, and environmental awareness and implement programs at sites. Regularly review and be familiar with all applicable legislation and applicable standards and ensure compliance.
• Ensure that all activities at the project site are in compliance with Health Safety & Environment Programs.
• To ensure that safety inspections and risk assessments are carried out and correctly reported; the employees are aware of their responsibilities.
• Responsible for reviewing in detail all safety-related reports.
• Prepare monthly HSE statistics and reports.
• To take charge of site inventory with proper recording, including fuel for machinery and equipment to ensure smooth operation.
• To pre-plan and delegate tasks clearly to all the workers and operators.
• To conduct tasks and instructions from site management as required but not limited to the above listed.
• To attend site work claim verification with the client.
• To check that all the equipment/material received and work done at the site are as specified.
• To attend site meetings and supervise the site to monitor the progress of work.
• To report to the Project Engineer on the progress of site work.
• To supervise surveyor site work.
• To instruct sub-con and supplier site work.
• To monitor that the site work progress is on schedule.
• To attend site inspections by authorities or clients.
• To keep daily site activity reports.
• To study survey, architecture, and structure drawings before starting work and report to the Project Engineer if any discrepancies are found.
• To ensure the equipment used at the site is safe and properly handled.
• To practice and implement quality systems (ISO9001:2000). Compile and file project documentation according to ISO requirements.

Requirement:

• Min. SPM/Certificate of Competency/Degree
• Candidate who possesses other competency certificates (Lifting Supervisor), CIDB Accredited Site Supervisor will be an added advantage
• Yellow Book/JKKP Registration
• Able to travel
• Fresh graduates who possess a competent certificate are encouraged to apply
