Site Supervisor, C&S / M&E

Site supervisor must be able to study the drawings and execute the work by managing the labor, material and machinery as per Daily planning. Monitoring the work and providing the current status of work to concerned Project Manager. Follow the guidance of his superiors.

Job Descriptions:

1. Able to monitor, plan & supervise site daily works to ensure work is done per construction plan specifications, quality requirements & safety measurements with proper reports and records.
2. Able to coordinate site matters, technical meetings and closely follow up sub-contractor daily works until the handover stage.
3. To check drawings before construction and report on discrepancies for clarification before construction.
4. To understand and be well-versed with the contractor’s contractual obligations and scope of work.
5. To report non-conformance on site such as poor workmanship or coordination on trades.
6. Perform inspection work with client representatives and take action on comments ensuring coordination of Architecture, M&E works with civil/structure and landscape works during construction.
7. Coordinate and monitor the delivery of materials.
8. Able to report and cooperate with Project Manager.
9. Able to perform any ad-hoc duties assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

1. Possess a Certificate or Diploma in Building or Civil Engineering.
2. Minimum 5 years experience in high-rise construction.
3. Candidates without the necessary academic qualifications but possess extensive site operational experience are also encouraged to apply.
4. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to plan and coordinate.
5. Good communication and negotiation skills.
6. Must be able to work independently and with integrity.
7. Accept job allocation to other project sites when required.
8. Knowledge of computer usage and preparing progress reports is an added advantage.
9. Able to commence work on short notice is an added advantage.
