SITE SUPERVISOR

As a Site Supervisor at Merak Teknik (M) Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operations at our construction site mainly focused in the Palm Oil Mill Industry, around Peninsula Malaysia. This full-time position requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail to ensure the successful delivery of our construction projects.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Knowledge and creativity in structure, work method & site arrangement
• Coordinate with subcontractors to arrange their work schedules according to the work programs
• Ensure site progress is achieved within the target timeline
• Monitor and report on the progress of construction projects, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to provide updates and address concerns
• Oversee the ordering and management of materials, equipment, and tools to support the construction process
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the construction project
• Well-versed in drawing study & method of construction
• Prepare and submit reports for any information requests or deviations from the required standards
• Manage workers and subcontractors effectively, while maintaining good relationships with clients and consultants
• Perform any other tasks assigned by Management
• Problem-solving abilities to identify and address issues that may arise on the construction site

REQUIREMENT:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar construction supervisory role
• Preferably holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Fabrication, or related field
• A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to the construction site as needed
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• Capable of leading and supervising site workers
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
