Site Supervisor

About the role

Des Wood (M) Sdn Bhd, an established interior design firm, is seeking a talented Site Supervisor to join our dynamic team based in Kota Damansara, Selangor. As a full-time role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing the successful execution of our interior design projects, ensuring they are delivered to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

• Coordinating and supervising all on-site construction and installation activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to the client's specifications
• Liaising closely with project managers, designers and subcontractors to effectively manage project timelines, resources and quality control
• Conducting regular site inspections and progress meetings to identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
• Providing progress reports to the project team and clients

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Site Supervisor or equivalent role in the interior design/construction industry
• Strong working knowledge of construction techniques, materials and building regulations
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to read and interpret design plans and technical drawings
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask
• Experience in managing subcontractors and coordinating site activities
• Knowledge of health and safety practices in the construction industry
