As a Site Supervisor at TANJUNG PERKASA CONSTRUCTION SDN BHD, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of construction projects in Bukit Mertajam, Penang. This contract position will involve managing a team of workers and ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards, on time and within budget.

What you'll be doing

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects
• Monitor the progress of construction work and identify and resolve any issues or delays
• Ensure that all construction activities adhere to relevant safety regulations and company policies
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns
• Maintain accurate records of project progress, materials usage, and labour hours
• Provide guidance and support to the construction team to enhance their skills and productivity

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a site supervisor or in a similar construction management role
• Strong knowledge of construction practices, materials, and safety regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate a team
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications
• Problem-solving skills to identify and address issues on the construction site
• Proficient in using construction management software and tools
