Oversees and coordinates all aspects of a construction project, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget, while maintaining quality standards and managing the workforce and subcontractors.
Responsibilities
Managing construction workers to ensure that they are working safely and productively.
Works closely with contractors and subcontractors, ensuring that they are completing work on time and to the required standards.
Responsible for maintaining project documentation, including plans, schedules, and progress reports.
Assists the project manager in managing the construction site, checking and reporting the Main-cons / Sub-cons work progress and work quality.
Responsible for all site daily inspection works (Architecture, Structured, and M & E) including CPC and CCC inspections, and defects rectification works.
Coordinates with consultants in preparation of work with authorities for the CCC.
Coordinates, reports, and monitors Vacant Possession (VP) to purchasers, issuing defects list to respective Main-Cons / Sub-Cons.
Pro-active and able to work independently.
Requirements
Diploma in Civil Engineering/Architecture/Building/Construction or equivalent.
Basic language command in English and Malay, both written and spoken.
Good technical knowledge, report preparation, and project supervision skills.
At least 3 years working experience with housing developer/main contractor, preferably in high-rise building projects.
