SITE SUPERVISOR

We are looking to employ a dedicated and experienced site supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of a construction site, ensuring that the project is completed within budget, on time, and in compliance with construction safety regulations. The site supervisor's responsibilities include ordering building supplies, scheduling equipment maintenance as needed, and training new construction employees. You should also be able to perform first aid in emergencies.

To be successful as a site supervisor, you should be detail-oriented and knowledgeable of building codes and construction safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of project progress reports, including daily logs, work schedules, safety reports, materials used, and costs incurred.
• Inspect construction sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards.
• Supervise and instruct the construction team as well as subcontractors.
• Educate site workers on construction safety regulations and accident protocols.
• Enforce site safety rules to minimize work-related accidents and injuries.
• Handle site accidents in accordance with established accident protocols.
• Maintain an accurate record of construction employee attendance.
• Evaluate the performance of construction employees and institute disciplinary measures as needed.
• Communicate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure project goals are achieved.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor's degree in construction management, construction science, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred. An advantage with CIDB supervision certification.
• Relevant working experience in high-rise building construction, architectural and structural management, and hands-on site experience will be an added advantage.
• Working knowledge of building codes, construction safety regulations, construction tools, and equipment.
• Outstanding leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
