SITE SUPERVISOR

Holiday Villa Johor Bahru City Centre (owned by Malpakat Leisure Group Sdn Bhd) is looking to employ a dedicated and experienced site supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of a construction site, ensuring that projects are completed within budget, on time, and in compliance with construction safety regulations. The site supervisor's responsibilities include ordering building supplies, scheduling equipment maintenance as needed, and training new construction employees. You should also be able to perform first aid in emergencies.

To be successful as a site supervisor, you should be detail-oriented and knowledgeable of building codes and construction safety regulations.

Site Supervisor Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for maintaining accurate records of project progress reports, including daily logs, work schedules, safety reports, materials used, and costs incurred.
2. Inspecting construction sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards.
3. Supervising and instructing the construction team as well as subcontractors.
4. Educating site workers on construction safety regulations and accident protocol.
5. Enforcing site safety rules to minimize work-related accidents and injuries.
6. Handling site accidents in accordance with established accident protocol.
7. Maintaining an accurate record of construction employee attendance.
8. Evaluating the performance of construction employees and instituting disciplinary measures as needed.
9. Communicating with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure project goals are achieved.

Site Supervisor Requirements:

1. Diploma / Bachelor's degree in construction management, construction science, civil engineering, or related field is preferred. An advantage with CIDB supervision certification.
2. Relevant working experience in high-rise building construction, architectural and structural management, and hands-on site experience will be an added advantage.
3. Working knowledge of building codes, construction safety regulations, construction tools, and equipment.
4. Outstanding leadership skills.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent communication skills.
7. Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
