Site Supervisor

About the role

Huo Loong Enterprise is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Ipoh, Perak. As a Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating all on-site construction activities to ensure the successful and timely completion of our projects. This full-time position will require you to work on-site, managing a team of skilled workers and subcontractors.

What you'll be doing

1. Supervising and coordinating the work of construction teams, subcontractors and labourers to ensure adherence to project plans, timelines and quality standards.
2. Monitoring and reporting on the progress of construction activities, identifying and resolving any issues or delays.
3. Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations.
4. Communicating regularly with project managers, clients and other stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns.
5. Overseeing the procurement and management of materials, equipment and resources to support construction activities.
6. Providing on-site training and guidance to workers to maintain high standards of workmanship.
7. Documenting and maintaining accurate records of all construction activities, timesheets and material consumption.

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar construction management role.
2. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, equipment and safety protocols.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a diverse team.
4. Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and contracts.
5. Proficient in using construction management software and technologies.
6. Familiarity with relevant construction regulations and standards in Malaysia.
7. Problem-solving skills and the ability to make timely decisions on-site.
8. A collaborative mindset and the ability to work well in a team environment.
