Responsibilities

  • Ensure proper scheduling of work tasks to avoid delays.
  • Perform regular site inspections to assess the quality of work, adherence to plans, and compliance with building codes.
  • Troubleshoot any issues on-site and resolve them promptly to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Assist in coordinating of quotation with sub-contractors.
  • Assist in interdepartmental coordination and follow-ups.
  • Arrange and manage site visit for gathering required information.
  • Perform cash flow forecasting, budgeting, costing and working closely with the Operations & Project teams in analysing margins, variances and cost analysis.
  • Tax submission including SST.
  • Present monthly financial report to management.
  • Assist in the installation and testing of ELV and ICT systems.
  • Review and understand construction drawings and schematic diagrams.
  • Maintain and update approved supplier/vendor list and build strong relationships.
  • Verify invoices and delivery orders against purchase orders for accuracy before forwarding to the accounts department.
  • Collaborate with design teams to ensure that all drawings meet design specifications, building codes, and regulations.
  • Ensure that drawings are clear, precise, and provide all the necessary details required for construction or manufacturing.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for all drawings and related documents, ensuring easy access and version control.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to quality, delivery, or cost.
  • Manage and coordinate the end-to-end procurement process, from identifying needs to placing purchase orders.
  • Review and analyze purchase requisitions and convert them into purchase orders.
  • Attend site valuation, site measurement and regular meetings when necessary.
  • Conduct, monitor & evaluate suppliers' performance to drive improvements in quality, cost, delivery and services.
  • To ensure timely and accuracy recording on all audit schedules.
  • Provide technical advice and resolve issues arises during construction work.
  • Maintain daily work logs systematically, collect data accurately and report on weekly inspections.
  • To supervise the site construction works to ensure that all works of the project are carried out in accordance with requirements, drawings and project time schedule.
  • Organizing and coordinating the material and human resources required to complete jobs.
  • Examining and inspecting work progress.
  • Determine the client’s goals and requirements of the project.
  • Sketch preliminary design plans, including electrical layouts.
  • Process receipts, payment schedules, and keep track of outstanding invoices.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient office operations.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, control costs, and ensure the project stays within financial constraints.
  • Quality & Safety Assurance: Ensure all work complies with safety standards and meets the required quality levels.
  • Problem-Solving: Quickly resolve any issues or delays that arise during the project to ensure minimal disruption.
  • Develop new relationships within the residential and commercial construction communities.
  • Master the construction sales process at their company.
  • Perform all aspects of selling/closing a project.
  • Able to produce projects progress reporting, site inspection, planning scheduling work sequences, presentation on work progress report and to attend meetings related to all company’s projects.
  • Budget management work closely with other clients, suppliers and workers towards accomplishing targeting deadlines and milestone.
