Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) cum Scaffolder

• Candidate must possess at least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field
• Required Skill(s): Microsoft Office
• Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Engineering - Environmental/Health/Safety or equivalent.
• Candidate will act as a Supervisor/Team Lead for this job position.
• Yellow Book Holder.
• Possess at least Scaffold Cert Level 1.

Job Description:

• Check and supervise workers on proper site cleanliness and personal hygiene.
• Check for vermin, pest or insect breeding and take remedial actions if required.
• Inspect construction plants, tools and scaffolding.
• In charge of safety checklist recording and filing.
• Perform accident investigation and file for records.
• Assist Safety Office in his responsibilities.
• Attend all safety activities (New workers induction, tool box meeting, etc.)
• Any other related jobs as assigned.

Safety team collective:

• Promote site health and safety initiatives.
• Work with Project Team on site security, health, safety and cleanliness issues.
• Ensure usage of required personal protective equipment (PPE) of all site personnel, visitors, etc. at all times.
• Ensure proper safety / warning signage, barricades are erected.
• Ensure proper site access / egress is available.
• Check and ensure proper storage of hazardous / dangerous chemicals.
• Supervise site personnel on good safety practices.
