Site Safety Supervisor (SSS)

Responsibilities:

1. Plan and implement OHS policies and programs for site projects.
2. Advise and lead employees on various safety-related topics at the work site.
3. Carry out toolbox meetings and daily reports.
4. Review existing policies and procedures.
5. Adhere to all rules and regulations.
6. Attend meetings with site project/client’s HR/Safety Committee.
7. Conduct risk assessments and risk control.
8. Enforce preventative measures.
9. Identify process bottlenecks and offer timely solutions.
10. Check if all employees are acting in adherence with rules and regulations and conduct regular PPE checks.
11. Prepare and present reports on accidents and violations and determine causes.
12. Oversee workplace repairs, installations, and any other work that could harm employees’ safety.
13. Prepare Method of Statement.
14. Conduct safety training for new employees.
15. Perform all duties relating to safety and health and other ad-hoc duties.

Requirements:

Possess a valid Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) Competency License registered with DOSH / JKKP (Yellow book).

• Candidate must possess at least a Degree/Diploma in Safety and Health or related qualification.
• At least two (2) years of working experience in the construction field.
• Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Good attitude and responsible characteristics.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel.
