Site Safety Supervisor (Part Time)

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure that the provisions of the Act and any regulations made thereunder are complied with;
2. Liaise with relevant government agencies such as DOSH, CIDB, KKM, local authorities, and all interested parties such as Project Client and consultant;
3. Promote the safe conduct of work generally within the worksite via HSE programs;
4. Inspect and rectify any unsafe acts and unsafe conditions at the workplace;
5. Check sub-contractors’ work to ensure compliance with the Act and the regulations made thereunder;
6. Assist Safety and Health Officer to carry out daily surveillance at the workplace/project with relevant checklist;
7. Assist the Safety and Health Officer to investigate any accident, near-miss accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning, or occupational diseases which have happened in the place of work;
8. Perform any other safety & health duties assigned by Superior/the Management from time to time.

Requirements:

1. Applicants must possess at least a Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health Management or Safety Certificate from approved authorities;
2. Candidate must be a certified Site Safety Supervisor by DOSH (Previously known as Yellow Book Holder);
3. At least 2 - 3 years of experience in Health and Safety. Experience in infrastructure projects is required for this position;
4. Proven experience of Supervisory Skills will be an added advantage;
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications;
6. Required Skill(s): Occupational Safety & Health Management, Construction Management, etc.;
7. Have the ability to demonstrate the application of risk assessment on company operations and activities;
8. Must be willing to work in Perak;
9. Able to start work on short notice is an added advantage;
10. Work for 15 hours per week.
