We are seeking a talented and experienced Site Safety Supervisor (Green Book Holder) to join our dynamic team at SNJ Engineering and Construction Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur. As a key member of our construction site, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health, safety and environmental compliance across all our projects.

This full-time role is crucial in maintaining a safe and productive work environment for our employees and stakeholders. You will work closely with the project management team to implement and monitor safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and provide training to our construction crews.

What you'll be doing

• Develop, implement and monitor comprehensive site-specific safety plans and procedures
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential risks
• Provide hands-on safety training and coaching to workers/contractors to promote a strong safety culture
• Investigate incidents and accidents, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure full compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental laws and regulations
• Maintain detailed records of safety activities, incidents and compliance documentation
• Support the project management team in reviewing and approving safety-related plans and procedures
• Champion continuous improvement in safety performance and practices across the organisation

What we're looking for

• Minimum 4 years' experience as a Site Safety Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry
• Thorough understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations applicable to the construction sector
• Strong knowledge of risk assessment, incident investigation and corrective action procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with workers, managers and authorities
• Proactive problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail to identify and address safety issues
• Certified as a Green Book Holder or equivalent certification
