Site Safety Supervisor

Ensure that the provisions of the Act and any regulations made thereunder are complied with;

Liaise with relevant government agencies such as DOSH, CIDB, KKM, local authorities, and all interested parties such as Project Client and consultant.

Promote the safe conduct of work generally within the worksite via HSE programs;

Inspect and rectify any unsafe acts and unsafe conditions at the place of work;

Check sub-contractors’ work to ensure compliance with the Act and the regulations made thereunder.

Assist the Safety and Health Officer in carrying out daily surveillance at the workplace/project with relevant checklists;

Assist the Safety and Health Officer in investigating any accident, near-miss accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning, or occupational diseases that have happened in the workplace;

Perform any other safety & health duties assigned by Superior/the Management from time to time.

Requirements:

Applicants must possess at least a Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health Management or a Safety Certificate from approved authorities;

Candidate must be a certified Site Safety Supervisor by DOSH (Previously known as Yellow Book Holder);

At least 2 - 3 years of experience in Health and Safety. Experience in Building projects is required for this position;

Proven experience of Supervisory Skills will be an added advantage;

Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications;

Required Skill(s): Occupational Safety & Health Management, Construction Management, etc.

Ability to demonstrate the application of risk assessment on company operations and activities;

Must be willing to work in Teluk Intan, Perak.

Able to start work on short notice is an added advantage.
