About the role

Gold Tower Enterprise is seeking an experienced Site Safety Supervisor to join our team on a contract basis in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the health, safety and environmental compliance of our construction site operations. Your expertise and dedication to fostering a safe work environment will be crucial in supporting the successful delivery of our projects.

What you'll be doing

1. Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards
2. Implement and monitor the execution of safety policies, procedures and work instructions
3. Provide safety training and toolbox talks to the construction team
4. Investigate incidents and accidents, document findings, and recommend corrective actions
5. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
6. Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop and maintain a strong safety culture
7. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to site safety activities

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Site Safety Supervisor or equivalent role in the construction industry
2. Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations and best practices
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with the construction team
4. Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address safety issues quickly and effectively
5. Proficient in the use of safety-related software and equipment
6. Proactive, detail-oriented and committed to maintaining a safe work environment
