SITE SAFETY SUPERVISOR

About the role

SH INTEGRATE SDN BHD is seeking an experienced Site Safety Supervisor to join our team in Senai Johor. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental compliance of our construction projects.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards
• Providing safety training and guidance to all site personnel
• Implementing and monitoring safety policies, procedures, and best practices
• Investigating and documenting incidents, accidents, and near-misses
• Liaising with regulatory authorities and ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Maintaining comprehensive safety records and reporting on key safety metrics
• Collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to continuously improve safety standards

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Site Safety Supervisor or in a similar role within the construction industry
• Thorough understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to the construction sector
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with workers at all levels
• Ability to think critically, problem-solve, and make sound decisions in high-risk situations
• Proficient in the use of safety monitoring and reporting tools
• Certification in occupational health and safety, such as NEBOSH or IOSH, is highly desirable
