Take full responsibility in controlling designated area of responsibility.
Conduct audit and inspection of HSE system for effective site control.
Assures compliance with organization and national HSE standards.
Coordinate with Subcontractor's Safety and site workers.
Create and administer orientation program for project employees.
Generate reports on a regular basis.
Develop solutions to improve site safety conditions.
Responsible for adopting and implementing company's SHET program.
Prepare, maintain, interpret, and communicate records, reports, or documents that may be required to meet corporate or regulatory requirements, including monitoring application of SHET standards.
Carry out periodic inspections and mock drills for checking the efficiency of ERT team members.
Assist construction team with the implementation of Permit to Work system.
Monitor toolbox talks, prepare safety bulletins, and promote HSE awareness.
Maintain and control safety documents, HSE statistics, manuals, and procedures.
Requirements:
Minimum three (3) years working in the construction industry.
Possess OYKSSS registered with DOSH.
Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and standards.
Knowledge of safety management systems and best practices.
Knowledgeable in documentation and presentation.
Good management and leadership skills with a responsible attitude.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage projects and priorities simultaneously.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in Chinese (Mandarin), English, and Malay.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility.
Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications.
