SITE SAFETY SUPERVISOR

Responsibilities:

• Take full responsibility in controlling designated area of responsibility.
• Conduct audit and inspection of HSE system for effective site control.
• Assures compliance with organization and national HSE standards.
• Coordinate with Subcontractor's Safety and site workers.
• Create and administer orientation program for project employees.
• Generate reports on a regular basis.
• Develop solutions to improve site safety conditions.
• Responsible for adopting and implementing company's SHET program.
• Prepare, maintain, interpret, and communicate records, reports, or documents that may be required to meet corporate or regulatory requirements, including monitoring application of SHET standards.
• Carry out periodic inspections and mock drills for checking the efficiency of ERT team members.
• Assist construction team with the implementation of Permit to Work system.
• Monitor toolbox talks, prepare safety bulletins, and promote HSE awareness.
• Maintain and control safety documents, HSE statistics, manuals, and procedures.

Requirements:

• Minimum three (3) years working in the construction industry.
• Possess OYKSSS registered with DOSH.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and standards.
• Knowledge of safety management systems and best practices.
• Knowledgeable in documentation and presentation.
• Good management and leadership skills with a responsible attitude.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Chinese (Mandarin), English, and Malay.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications.
