Site Safety Supervisor

Job Responsibilities:

• Fully in-charge and manage safety, health and environment at site.
• Attend meetings with clients regarding safety and health matters.
• Carry out day-to-day site safety inspections and supervise site work to ensure that safety aspects are carried out in accordance with the HSE Plan.
• Ensure safety policies, manuals, rules, and procedures are in place and enforced to guarantee safe operations.
• Provide safety guidance and training on site to employees and subcontract staff.
• Monitor and control subcontractor’s safety and health practices.
• Ensure good housekeeping at work sites.
• Ensure all workers comply with PPE requirements.
• Perform any other tasks delegated by Superiors.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of working experience as a Site Safety Supervisor in the construction industry.
• Must have a valid Yellow Book registered with the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH).
• Computer literate with fair spoken and written English skills.
• Knowledge of legal and ESH requirements by law and clients.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel frequently to sites within Malaysia on short notice.
