Fully in-charge and manage safety, health and environment at site.
Attend meetings with clients regarding safety and health matters.
Carry out day-to-day site safety inspections and supervise site work to ensure that safety aspects are carried out in accordance with the HSE Plan.
Ensure safety policies, manuals, rules, and procedures are in place and enforced to guarantee safe operations.
Provide safety guidance and training on site to employees and subcontract staff.
Monitor and control subcontractor’s safety and health practices.
Ensure good housekeeping at work sites.
Ensure all workers comply with PPE requirements.
Perform any other tasks delegated by Superiors.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent.
At least 2 years of working experience as a Site Safety Supervisor in the construction industry.
Must have a valid Yellow Book registered with the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH).
Computer literate with fair spoken and written English skills.
Knowledge of legal and ESH requirements by law and clients.
Possess own transport and willing to travel frequently to sites within Malaysia on short notice.
