Site Safety Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• To register your Site Safety Supervisor License (Yellow Book) at the project site.
• To check, control, and ensure daily operation at the site is adhered to Occupational, Safety and health (Amendment) Act 2022 and legal and corporate requirements.
• To anticipate, prevent, and eliminate all unsafe conditions and practices at site that could lead to occupational injuries and illness.
• Work closely with all department heads to provide input related to safety, health, and environmental matters.
• Involvement in risk/hazard assessment at site. All the identified hazards shall be attended to and recorded.
• Liaise with DOE, DOSH, BOMBA, and local authorities.
• Ensure workers’ passports, working permits, permits to work (PTW), CIDB, or any other necessary documents are always valid to work at the site.
• Conduct weekly Safety and Health inspections around the work site to ensure compliance with the S&H plan, procedures, and statutory regulations.
• Conduct safety briefing/training/induction to all new employees, contractors, vendors, etc.
• To prepare Safety Reports, Job Safety Analysis, HIRADC, lifting plans, etc.
• To be involved in an incident investigation if there is any incident at the site.
• To assist during audits, and inspections and maintain all documentation and records.
• Conduct regular check-ups on equipment such as lifts, cranes, scaffolding, and electrical equipment to ensure they are functioning properly and safe to use.
• To assist the Project Manager/SHO in setting workers' workplace, attendance, and quarters.
• Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

• Applicants must be holders of the DOSH Yellow Book.
• Experience to read Construction drawings.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the Health and Safety field (Construction Industry) is essential for this role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications is required.
• Willingness to travel to various site locations.
