Site Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Site Quantity Surveyor to join our vibrant team at KERISIK RESOURCES SDN. BHD. in Kota Bharu, Kelantan. As a Site Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of our construction projects, ensuring cost-effective and efficient project delivery. What you'll be doing

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents for construction projects
• Monitor and control project costs, ensuring adherence to budgets and identifying potential savings
• Negotiate and manage subcontractor and supplier contracts, ensuring fair and favourable terms
• Provide expert advice and guidance to project managers and stakeholders on financial matters
• Ensure compliance with relevant construction regulations, standards, and quality control measures
• Collaborate with the project team to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues
• Prepare detailed progress reports and maintain accurate project records

What we're looking for

• Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Site Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
• Excellent understanding of construction cost management, contract administration, and project control
• Proficient in the use of quantity surveying software and MS Office applications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with project stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and collaborative approach
