YOUR ROLE

You are the Muar site cybersecurity officer and your responsibilities are as follows:

1. Ensure that information security risks at the site are known and managed.
2. Ensure that the information security framework is implemented at the site.
3. Raise infosec awareness at the site, at all levels.
4. Participate actively in the detection and reaction to InfoSec-related anomalies or incidents.
5. Ensure that site services and local IT/industrial solutions are properly managed for security.
6. Be the InfoSec technical reference at the site, making the link with the SOC, as needed.

Your Skills & Experiences

1. 5-10 years’ experience covering several domains of information security.
2. Ability to cover the entire scope of information security.
3. Expertise in several domains of cyber security (such as network, system, application, incident management, awareness, vulnerability management, audit and risk assessment).
4. Ability to interact with people at all levels and all domains (directors, managers, experts).
5. Experience in conducting security training and briefing sessions with management.
6. Good facilitation, communication, and influence skills.
7. Ability to treat several topics in parallel to clarify the unknown, to translate technical aspects into risks, and to communicate on those risks.
8. Ability to consider short-term as well as longer-term actions and to anticipate.
9. Trustworthy, rigorous, and proactive.
10. Bachelor in information security or equivalent experience.
11. Language spoken at the site (English, Malay) is a must.
12. English: at minimum B2 (CEFR scale).
13. Security certification is a plus (CISSP).
